The 34th Macao International Fireworks Display Contest is set to take place in the next two months, enabling residents and tourists in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, to enjoy the stunning fireworks displays for free during the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays.

The performances are scheduled for five dates this year: Sept 12, 19 and 25, and Oct 1 and 4, staged over the sea area adjacent to the Macau Tower.

Recommended viewing locations in Zhuhai and Hengqin include the Shizimen waterfront, the vicinity of the Hengqin IFC Tower, and Jialin Mountain.

Visitors can also take night cruise services running between Zhuhai and Macao from the Wan Chai Ferry Pier to watch the fireworks and drone show up close.
