An Asia-Pacific media delegation arrived in Xiangzhou district, Guangdong province, to embark on an immersive city tour on Sept 2.
Along Lovers' Road, the delegation stopped at the Love Post Office and City Balcony to take in the coastal scenery and proceeded to Zhuhai Grand Theater on Yeli Island, where they learned about the theater's construction story and distinctive features.
"What impresses me most is the seamless integration of nature and architecture," said Felipe Cuadra Campos, chief advisor of La Tercera under the Chilean Newspaper Group
The delegation also visited the Beishan village, an 800-year-old historic settlement with a mix of historical charm and modern style, to experience the vibe of the city. Even late at night, the city still feels alive.
