The Asia-Pacific Media Forum was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong province on Sept 5. During the event, representatives from leading media outlets across the region visited the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, a megastructure often hailed as the "Mount Everest of bridge construction".

Infrastructure development or ecological protection? The HZMB makes a resounding case that the two are far from mutually exclusive. Instead, when planned, they can coexist in synergy, each bringing out the best in each other.
