Three intelligent manufacturing projects have held foundation-laying ceremonies in Xiangzhou district, Guangdong province, with a total investment of 900 million yuan ($134.41 million) and projected annual output value exceeding 2.8 billion yuan.

The Quin Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park and Chuangxiang Zhigu Industrial Park broke ground in Sanxi Scientific and Innovation Town on Sept 16, followed by the Zhuahai Beikai Zhujiang Power Distribution Headquarter in Nanwan New Town on Sept 19. The projects will help foster new quality productive forces and advance high-quality development in the district.

Zhuhai Quin Technology, a national-level specialized and sophisticated "little giant" firm and national manufacturing single champion, is a global leader in portable smart printing and IoT identification devices. Its portable printer sales have ranked first worldwide since 2022.

The second-phase Quin Park, with 500 million yuan in total construction investment, covers a land area of about 40,000 square meters and has a total construction area of 140,000 square meters. It is expected to generate over 2.1 billion yuan in annual output upon completion, filling critical gaps in the local industrial chain.

Invested by Guangdong Benro Imaging Technology Industry Co Ltd, the 300-million-yuan Chuangxiang Zhigu Industrial Park will focus on core components, smart terminals and high-end equipment, targeting 500 million yuan in annual output. Founded in 2002, Benro is a national high-tech enterprise with over 100 patents and a global sales network spanning more than 60 countries.

The 100-million-yuan Beikai Zhujiang project, developed by Zhuhai Beikai Zhujiang Electrical Equipment Co Ltd, will integrate headquarters offices, production workshops and R&D centers. It is designed to produce 250,000 units of intelligent power distribution equipment annually, realizing 260 million yuan in yearly output with highly efficient land use.

Xiangzhou authorities are prioritizing industry and enterprises, streamlining approval processes and improving public amenities to support sustained business growth.
