An embodied intelligence theme park opened on Thursday in the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, Guangdong province, helping promote the deep integration of AI technology into real-world cultural and tourism scenarios.

The theme park, jointly developed by Chimelong Group and AGIBOT Innovation (Shanghai) Technology, achieves large-scale deployment of embodied intelligent robots across all scenarios.

AGIBOT also delivered its 20,000th embodied intelligent robot on Thursday, which participated in a large-scale human-robot performance to celebrate the park's opening.

The theme park covers six core areas, including robot performances, AI science popularization, intelligent tours, research and study education, intelligent companionship, and hotel reception, to create a human-robot interactive experience.

Technological innovation is the key to high-quality development in the cultural and tourism industry, as embodied intelligence is driving the industry from simple sightseeing to a deeply immersive era, according to Su Zhigang, chairman of Chimelong Group.

"The vast real-world visitor scenarios in Hengqin provide a valuable commercial testing ground for domestic robots," said Su.
