Gongbei sub-district's first charity fair and Lantern Festival activities took place from Feb 24 to 25, which attracted over 2,000 citizens, featuring a bustling atmosphere with various talent performances, intangible cultural heritage items, and delicious food.

At the fair, the joint production of Gongbei postcards by Gongbei sub-district and China Post garnered significant attention. Numerous food and beverage brands appeared while citizens participated in intangible cultural heritage games and purchased amusement park tickets to get presents. The ticket revenue will be donated to the Gongbei charity fund for future charitable services.

Since 2015, Gongbei sub-district's public welfare venture capital plan has launched six sessions, implementing 164 public welfare projects with a capital investment of 8.68 million yuan ($1.22 million). This year, the charity fair has been introduced to encourage more businesses, organizations, and residents to participate, advocate, and benefit from community charity and public welfare.
