In commemoration of the 113th International Nurses Day on May 12, Xiangzhou district's Health Bureau held a conference to announce the establishment of a nursing quality control center.

The founding of the center will promote the improved quality and safety of health care, boost the level of clinical care services, and aim to give patients a better overall experience.

Numerous medical institutes in Xiangzhou have been showered with praise and awarded honorary titles this year while nursing workers in the area have been trying their best to safeguard the health of local residents through a series of practical measures. 

As one example, the People's Hospital of Xiangzhou district has been conducting health knowledge training for elderly people, medical staff, and nursing workers in Qikang Nursing Home. The health service center in Xiangwan and Wanzai sub-districts  has also conducted free medical check-ups to commemorate International Nurses Day.
