The topping-off ceremony for the renovation and expansion project of Zhuhai No. 10 Middle School was held on Jan 11.

Chen Xiangrui, Head of the United Front Work Department of Xiangzhou District Committee of the CPC, and officials from various district-level institutions attended the event. Zhou Yang, the Party secretary of the district's education bureau, delivered a speech expressing his expectations and requirements for the subsequent project construction.

The renovation and expansion project has a total construction area of approximately 19,668 square meters. The project is scheduled to be completed by September 2025, adding 12 teaching classes and increasing the number of degrees by 600.

Since 2022, Xiangzhou has implemented an essential education degree fortification, launching 73 projects over three years with investments exceeding 2.9 billion yuan ($397 million), adding 50,250 degrees. In 2025, it is expected that 17 projects will be completed, adding 11,000 degrees.
