On Jan 19, a grand Chinese New Year's running event was held at the riverside of Qianshan River in Xiangzhou district, attracting numerous running enthusiasts.

The event attracted over 200 competitive runners and more than 300 fun-runners, with nearly one-fifth of the participants being from Hong Kong and Macao.

To motivate participants to showcase their charm, the event offered generous awards in two categories: competitive and fun running. The event's route stretched along both sides of the Qianshan River for approximately 8.6 kilometers.

Participants appreciated the beautiful scenery of the Qianshan River and experienced a unique running journey. The event was designed to promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage widespread participation in fitness activities, and showcase the achievements of the Qianshan River's management.

Since last year, Xiangzhou has made the upgrading and transformation of the Qianshan River one of its key tasks. It aims to create a good urban environment and public service facilities and provide its residents with a better sense of happiness and fulfillment.

In the future, Xiangzhou is set to continue to organize a series of activities related to the Qianshan River to stimulate the development of surrounding industries and guide citizens to pay more attention to and contribute to the management and protection of Qianshan River, injecting new vitality into the creation of a charming Xiangzhou.
