On March 10, the Zhuhai Low Altitude Smart Link Application Test Base's inauguration ceremony took place in Hongwan. Nearly a hundred people witnessed a milestone in the development of Zhuhai's low-altitude economic industry.

The test base aims to provide a "one-stop flight service" for Zhuhai's drone companies, covering flight plan application, airspace coordination, aviation meteorology, insurance services, and full process support.

Filling a critical gap in the regional low-altitude industry chain, the base promotes industry upgrading from singular manufacturing to a comprehensive chain, helping Zhuhai seize the high ground in low-altitude smart link technology.

The test base is set to become a core hub for the low-altitude economy, focusing on industry aggregation, smart services, talent cultivation, cultural tourism integration, and smart logistics. It will attract drone industry enterprises, enhance flight safety and efficiency, nurture professional talents, create new cultural and tourism hotspots, and improve urban logistics efficiency.

The base's development will progress in two phases. The first phase will establish a professional test flight field and flight service center, conducting drone test flights, industry introductions, product research and development, sales, talent training, pilot communities, public education, and low-altitude flight services. The second phase will develop a low-altitude themed campsite, creating a "flight + camping" leisure destination.
