On June 15, the Xiangshan Cultural Research Institute in Xiangshan district, Zhuhai, was officially established at the Xiangshan Cultural and Art Center.

Over 150 representatives from research institutes, and social sectors attended the ceremony. The institute aims to collaborate with Zhuhai, Zhongshan, and Macao to focus on Xiangshan culture and culture of study abroad through academic research, publications, and public dissemination.

Li Zhigang, director of the publicity department of Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai, stated that the institute will not only serve as an academic exchange platform but also integrate regional cultural resources. The goal is to transform historical and cultural experiences into theoretical outcomes, language systems, and decision-making foundations.

The institute will focus on three key tasks: collecting and organizing historical and cultural resources, innovating cultural communication, and enhancing regional cooperation, in order to promote resource sharing and explore cultural tourism integration paths.

The conference also featured the unveiling of the "Zhuhai Xiangshan Cultural Research Institute" and the "Xiangshan Cultural Research Exchange Center", along with the Xiangshan Cultural Salon event.

At the event, experts and scholars discussed the integration of historical resources and contemporary value transformation, proposing innovative methods to revitalize Xiangshan culture and contribute to the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
