In 1999, Stephen Chow filmed scenes for Shaolin Soccer on Xiamai Road in Zhuhai's Shishan sub-district. Twenty-six years later, Chunfang Barber Shop's scissors are still snipping, while the street blooms with flowers and greenery.

Inside the salon, walls display cast photos; across the street, a half football seems to crash into a wall, forming a popular photo spot. The former "Sweet Heart Steamed Bun" store is now a guardhouse, but a large bun mural allows the aroma to evoke memories across time.

Xiangshan Park has been revitalized with abundant trees providing shade. Meanwhile, Guanghua Street preserves historic wells and walls, while incorporating cafes and innovative shops, merging a sense of nostalgia with contemporary trends.

In recent years, Zhuhai has renovated its historic streets without tearing them down, preserving charm and memory while ensuring the district stays lively and youthful.
