The 33rd Macao International Fireworks Display Contest will illuminate the sky this autumn, featuring 10 breathtaking pyrotechnic performances by top fireworks companies from 10 countries across five nights – all open to the public for free.
Following the official competition schedule, renowned fireworks companies from 10 nations including Australia, South Africa, South Korea, Austria, the Philippines, Japan, China, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and Brazil, will each present an 18-minute choreographed pyrotechnic masterpiece.
Time: Sept 6, 13, 20, and Oct 1, 6 at 9:00 PM and 9:40 PM (Beijing Time)
Venue: Over the Waters Opposite Macao Tower
For viewers in Zhuhai, prime viewing locations include:
Shizimen Coastal Area: Offering broad vistas and proximity to the launch point for immersive experiences;
Qianshan Riverfront: Particularly near Qianshan Bridge and Baishi Bridge, where open sightlines allow leisurely strolls amid colorful reflections;
Zhuhai-Macao Night Cruise: Departing from Wanchai Tourism Pier, this cruise passes through the fireworks display area and offers close-up views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and Macao’s coastline under the night sky.
