On Sept 12, the National Ink Development Conference and High-End Printing Industry Supply-Demand Matchmaking Meeting was held at the Renaissance Zhuhai Hotel in Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai.

Industry representatives from across the country gathered at the event. Attendees included members of the Zhuhai High-End Industry Chain Committee of the Communist Party of China, officials from relevant government departments, members of the Zhuhai Printing Equipment and Consumables Association, leading national ink companies, high-end printing and consumables firms, 3D printing enterprises, core supply chain companies, and representatives from local banks, financial institutions, research institutes, and various enterprises and organizations.

At the conference, a special presentation covered Xiangzhou's regional investment climate, its strengths in industrial policies, and the latest developments in the office automation and printing consumables sectors.

Local officials extended a sincere invitation to entrepreneurs to "Invest in Xiangzhou, Create the Future Together," while also giving a detailed explanation of the district's unique strengths in industrial clustering, factor support, and business environment.

As Zhuhai's primary urban district, Xiangzhou has seen swift expansion in its printing equipment and consumables sector in recent years. In 2024, this industry reached an output value of 11.07 billion yuan ($1.54 billion), forming a comprehensive industrial chain that includes upstream high-end printer parts and advanced 3D printing materials, as well as midstream high-quality printing consumables and fully integrated equipment.

In 2024, the printing equipment and consumables industrial cluster in Xiangzhou was designated as a national-level specialized industrial cluster for SMEs, marking Zhuhai's first such achievement. This signifies that Xiangzhou has become one of the world’s top regions in the high-end printing equipment and consumables sector, boasting the largest scale, the most comprehensive industrial chain, and the highest technological standards.
