On Sept 16, Mr Efstathios Andreou, Consul General of the Netherlands in Guangzhou, and Mr Henri Pierre Remmers, founder of the CORPUS project, visited Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai to formally sign the agreement for establishing the Netherlands Corpus "Journey Through the Human Body" Science Museum.
Xiangzhou will be the site of the first and only Corpus museum in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, signaling a major step forward for the district in attracting international high-end science, education, and cultural tourism projects.
The project is funded and developed by CORPUS World Wide, a well-known global company. With an investment of $40 million, the museum will serve as a top-tier cultural and tourism destination, combining science education and interactive exhibits.
CORPUS pioneers the world's first "Journey Through the Human Body" museum in the Netherlands, opened with Queen Beatrix's participation, and is recognized as one of Europe's top eight museums. It remains the only immersive science and education attraction focused on exploring the human body.
The Xiangzhou project builds on the brand's original concept by incorporating advanced technologies like holography and immersive sound and light media to showcase the mysteries of the human body vividly while encouraging healthy lifestyles. Once finished, it is projected to draw over one million visitors each year, boosting Xiangzhou's cultural and scientific innovation environment and delivering substantial economic gains.
This partnership marks a major milestone in Xiangzhou's investment promotion, highlighting the district's vigorous progress in industrial upgrades and global growth. Xiangzhou is actively attracting top-tier projects from developed nations and aims to become a key center for international cooperation in the Greater Bay Area.
