Recently, the Guangdong Enterprise Federation and the Guangdong Entrepreneurs Association released the Guangdong Top 500 Enterprises List and Development Report.

Five companies from Xiangzhou, Zhuhai, made the list: Gree Electric Appliances of Zhuhai, Zhuhai Huafa Group, Ninestar Corporation, Guangdong Jianxing Construction Group, and Zhuhai Jieli Technology.

According to the report, the top 500 enterprises recorded a total operating revenue of 19.36 trillion yuan ($2.67 trillion), a record high. Their total assets surpassed 68 trillion yuan, and their total R&D investment reached 584.961 billion yuan.

Underpinning the steady growth in these key metrics is the companies' investment in technological innovation. In 2025, the total R&D expenditures of the top 500 enterprises reached 584.96 billion yuan.
