From Nov 7 to 9, Zhuhai hosted the 15th National Games Road Cycling Race, a key event in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. The race featured a route beginning at Lovers' Road and extending to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. Uniquely, cyclists crossed regional borders for the first time, turning Zhuhai into more than just a race location — it became a regional connector.
During the event, streets around Lovers' Road, Haibin Park, and the Statue of Fisher Girl were crowded with spectators of all ages waving flags, holding signs, and shouting "Go! Go!" to cheer and greet each cyclist, with the sea breeze adding to the excitement!
