The 7th China Education Innovation Expo opened in Zhuhai on Nov 15, with Xiangzhou district showcasing 23 regional education reform achievements.
The exhibition presented the "Xiangzhou solution" in five key areas: teacher development, curriculum reform, science education, cross-border integration, and cultural heritage.
In teacher development, it established a "teaching-research-training" core system with a four-tier certification program (from New Teacher to Chief Teacher), helping Xiangzhou earn provincial-level demonstration zone status. For curriculum reform, schools like Zhenxian Primary School implemented the "Chinese 3R (reflect-resolve-release) deep learning" model with notable results. This initiative has produced 13 literature unit designs based on national textbooks, earning provincial project recognition and a municipal first prize in teaching achievements.
Science education adopted a data-driven approach to build an ecosystem for holistic education, with Qunxian Primary School's curriculum winning 335 awards. Cross-border initiatives included the kindergarten's boundary-free play model, which has now been implemented in over 900 kindergartens across 15 provincial-level regions nationwide. Yang Pao An Memorial School incorporated Lingnan folk arts into aesthetic education, promoting cultural heritage and a sense of national identity.
