The Qianshan Fengji (phoenix and rooster) Dance marked the opening of the Qianshan sub-district's conference on building a digital economy innovation corridor and its inaugural real-world application promotion conference on the third floor of the Blue Ocean Finance Center (Xiangzhou) on Nov 28.

The event showcased a blend of traditional folklore and modern technology with digital light boards in the shape of a "phoenix-rooster" flicker, while the images of smart products and intangible cultural heritage performances on the display screens complement each other. This vivid presentation highlighted Qianshan's developmental approach of empowering industry with culture and revitalizing tradition through technology. 

The conference spotlighted a list of real-world applications in areas such as digital manufacturing, digital cultural innovation, digital e-commerce, and artificial intelligence. To date, over 20 industrial carriers within the sub-district, including Blue Ocean Finance Center and KIMKA Creative Valley, have attracted more than 2,000 companies related to the digital economy. This concentration has fostered a complete industrial chain encompassing core technology R&D to practical scenario implementation.

Ye Weixuan, chairman of the Qianshan Sub-district Chamber of Commerce, emphasized the chamber's role as a vital bridge connecting government and businesses during the conference. He stated that the chamber would use this conference to enhance resource integration and build a regularized platform for corporate exchange. Planned initiatives include industry salons, supply-demand alignment, and visits to leading enterprises, all designed to break down information walls between companies.

During an interactive seminar, representatives from government and enterprises engaged in candid discussions on topics such as talent introduction and cultivation, computing power support, and so on, exploring opportunities presented by the upcoming 15th Five-Year Plan period.

The conference attracted over 150 participants, including Gree Electric Appliances and the School of Intelligent System Science and Engineering of Jinan University, spanning sectors like smart manufacturing, digital services, and scientific research.

Moving forward, Qianshan will position the digital economy as a powerful engine driving high-quality regional development.
