The Zhuhai–Hong Kong–Macao New Year's Eve Light & Food Carnival is now underway at Haitian Park in Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai, running from Dec 30 to Jan 3. Open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, the event is free and open to the public.
Spanning five days and nights, the carnival brings together signature flavors from Zhuhai, Hong Kong, and Macao. Well-known local restaurants are showcasing their specialties alongside classic Hong Kong and Macao street food, including Portuguese egg tarts, pork chop buns, and traditional snacks. Eight themed zones create an immersive day-to-night experience that blends dining, culture, and urban leisure.
The event features large-scale drone light shows, with thousands of drones illuminating the night sky on Dec 30 and 31, delivering festive New Year greetings through dynamic formations and light choreography. Cultural highlights include Chaoshan Yingge Dance parades, live bands, street dance performances, and nightly light shows.
