As June brings rising temperatures and increased rainfall to Zhuhai in South China's Guangdong province, lotuses bloom across the parks of the city's Xiangzhou district.

At Bailiandong Park and Yuanming Xinyuan Park, most lotus flowers are still budding, with only a few in early bloom. The peak blooming period is expected to last from late June to early July.

At the lotus ponds, layers of lush green leaves cover the water's surface. Pink and white lotus flowers are just beginning to their color, while others are fully open, their delicate petals glowing in the sunlight. A gentle breeze occasionally carries the fragrance of lotuses mixed with the summer heat, inviting visitors to slow down and savor the moment.

Each park offers a unique backdrop: Bailiandong Park features ancient pavilions, while Yuanming Xinyuan Park provides a refreshing garden setting. Both parks offer free entry and are easily accessible.
