Xiangzhou district of Zhuhai city in South China's Guangdong province organized local enterprises to visit the Zhuhai Campus of Sun Yat-sen University on June 26 as part of the district's efforts to strengthen academia-industry cooperation.

Representatives from over 10 companies, including Jieli Technology, Inxuntech and Yins IC, participated in the event. They engaged in discussions on technology sharing and toured the university's facilities and laboratories, fostering collaboration between the university and industry.

Experts from the university's School of Microelectronics, School of Artificial Intelligence, and School of Software Engineering presented insightful talks, showcasing their respective educational strengths and cutting-edge technologies.

The lively exchange session allowed company representatives to discuss their technological challenges, exploring joint research projects and resource-sharing with the university.

Participants also toured key research platforms, including a virtual-reality integration training ground and a robotics center. The university introduced mechanisms for equipment sharing and laboratory access, providing a clear path for future collaboration.

Moving forward, Xiangzhou district aims to focus on key industries and regularly conduct "Enterprise Entering Campus" activities, fostering innovation and addressing challenges in technology and talent development, thus integrating technological and industrial innovation and driving high-quality development in Zhuhai.
