UniPark and Midtown, two major business hubs in Xiangzhou district, Zhuhai, have launched refund-upon-purchase services for overseas visitors, aiming to enhance the customer experience and boost inbound consumption.

UniPark, home to a cluster of first-to-market stores and mid-to-high-end retailers, has set up a dedicated on-site refund point offering one-stop services. Covering digital electronics, fashion apparel and luxury watches, the service allows eligible overseas tourists to complete refund procedures with a valid ID at the mall's service center (near ZARA, gate 1, level 1) after purchases at participating stores, eliminating the need to handle formalities at departure ports and greatly streamlining the process.

Midtown, a provincial-level featured pedestrian street, has also rolled out the service tailored to its culture-tourism-shopping integrated scenario. The service covers the outlets of DJI, Huawei and Sunion (an authorized reseller), using the area's landmark appeal to attract overseas visitors and invigorate merchant vitality.
