​The 2023 Zhuhai Beach Music Festival will return to Zhuhai's Xiangzhou district at Seaside Swimming Beach on Oct 28 and 29, making its highly-anticipated comeback after a three-year hiatus.

​Final preparations are being made for the 31st Macao International Fireworks Display Contest, which will take place in mid-September - with the eager residents of South China's Macao and Zhuhai once again able to take in the visual extravaganza after a three-year hiatus.

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) Zhuhai Port inspected over 11,000 vehicles on Aug 20, marking the 12th time this year it broke the record for the highest daily traffic volume.

A romantic coastal self-drive route along Lovers Avenue in Zhuhai city - located in South China's Guangdong province - recently received a new accolade.

The Wanzai Checkpoint in Zhuhai recorded a cross-border cumulative visitor volume of over 600,000 in the year to date as of July 28 - overtaking the annual volume of 540,000 people for 2022 and showing a year-on-year increase during the period of about 3.5 times.

As of Monday, 500,000 vehicles from the two special administrative regions have entered or left the mainland via the bridge.

Owners of single-plate vehicles in Hong Kong have been eligible to apply for permits to enter Guangdong Province since June 1.

The 1,600 applicants were selected through "computer ballot" from more than 16,000 hopefuls who signed up.
